Donor Recognition

WAMU 1961 Society

Should you choose to include WAMU in your estate plan, you will be personally recognized (with your permission) as a member of the WAMU 1961 Society... so named because it marks the year this station began its broadcasting service to the greater Washington, DC area. Once a year, you will receive an invitation to our exclusive major donor reception with WAMU on-air hosts. With your permission, you will also be noted in WAMU's Annual Report at year's end.

Helen Palmer Kettler Society

In addition, you will also be invited to join the Helen Palmer Kettler Society, named in recognition of one of American University's most generous friends and visionaries. This honorary society acknowledges the commitments of friends who have chosen to support AU and its programs through their estate plan. Membership privileges for the Helen Palmer Kettler Society include recognition in AU's Honor Roll and complimentary invitations to special events at the University.

In addition, it is our hope that in acknowledging the generous acts of our donors, others will be moved to consider including WAMU in their estate plans. For more information, please contact us. All conversations and contacts are confidential and without obligation.
